KED STREET JUNIOR PRO KIDS HELMET

The STREET JR. PRO has everything you need for a safe start in cycling - whether off-road or (without a visor) on the road. With the appropriate ventilation and low weight, it plays in the league of adult helmets. And in traffic, the modern K-FIT adjustment system ensures not only the perfect fit but also high visibility thanks to the LED rear light and reflector. Helmet technology, Made in Germany, for sporty young people.

K-FIT system with LED rear light

With the compact K-FIT adjustment system, KED has developed one of the most comfortable systems currently available. The rotary wheel allows precise adjustment of the head ring in both directions. K-FIT combines active and passive visibility thanks to the integrated reflector and switchable LED rear light with continuous and flashing mode.

Ventilation and insect protection net

Strategically placed ventilation openings with integrated insect protection net for optimal ventilation and protection against annoying insects.

maxSHELL®

In the maxSHELL® manufacturing process, the EPS inner shell is inseparably bonded to the outer shell (microshell) after the foaming process using a special bonding process. This sandwich composite is characterized by greater elasticity. The maxSHELL® process offers very good damping properties and is extremely robust and durable.

QUICKSTOPP® belt system

The QUICKSTOPP® system in the middle of the helmet allows the strap length to be adjusted quickly and prevents the strap from slipping from one side of the helmet to the other.

RIB CAGE reinforcement element

Internal reinforcement elements such as the Rib Cage enable the largest possible ventilation openings to be implemented without compromising on safety-relevant properties. The structural reinforcements are integrated into the EPS shell during the manufacturing process.

EPS inner shell

The EPS inner shell (Expanded Polystyrene) is the basis of every helmet development. It determines the helmet’s damping properties in the event of an impact. With KED’s 30 years of know-how in the manufacture of EPS components, we enable the ideal balance of weight, ventilation openings and material expenditure. The EPS balls are foamed in special tools made by us. The finished EPS shell consists of 98% air, which takes over the damping like a gas spring strut. With our unique manufacturing process, we achieve a particularly high-performance overall structure of the EPS body with very high cross-linking of the EPS balls and perfectly coordinated density.
