PEARL IZUMI HEATTECH SENSOR® WINTER SOCKS

These winter socks use a material called “Heattech Sensor®,” which generates heat to maintain warmth. By using a pile knit on the inside of the instep from the toes to the ankles (which tend to get cold) and providing breathability and sweat absorption to the soles of the feet (which tend to get sweaty), resulting in a balance of warmth and dry comfort.

Material Technology

- HEATTECH SENSOR®

A material with moisture-absorbing, heat-generating properties, primarily used for base layers. It converts moisture (sweat) from the body into heat—generating three times as much heat as wool—to keep the body warmly insulated. Additionally, the outer layer incorporates "Aqua Stealth™," a moisture-wicking, quick-drying material. This effectively disperses sweat, prevents stuffiness inside the garment, and helps keep the body from getting cold.
